Any time you're planning to be away from home you worry about who will care for your pet. As an animal lover and pet owner I personally know how difficult it can be to find someone to look after your pet when you need to be away from home - whether it's for business, pleasure or an unexpected family emergency.
What options do you have - call a friend or family member, board them, leave them alone - what a dilemma! In today's transient society, with our busy work schedules and personal lives many people don't know their neighbors well, or don't feel comfortable asking them to watch their pets or home during an absence.
What if something goes wrong, gets broken or a pet gets ill?
Best Friend Petsitting
Providing attention and affection when you can't be there...
DEPENDABLE

FRIENDLY
Best Friend Petsitting ensures the well-being of your pets and home while you are away, and does so with respect , attentiveness and loving care. I want you to experience the peace of mind that comes from knowing that someone trustworthy, dependable and compassionate is looking after the pets who are a special part of your family. I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. Best Friend Petsitting is the perfect alternative to boarding.
I strongly believe that your pet’s emotional well-being is linked to their physical health. Stress, boredom and loneliness are notorious for contributing to health and behavior problems in pets. By determining your pets’ needs and tuning in to their emotional state while they are under my care I am better able to give them what they need to feel safe, happy and comfortable . Whether it’s exercise, affection, playtime, or just sitting on my lap or at my side I listen and respond in the best way I can to meet the needs of your pet. Because your pets stay in the comfort of their own home surrounded by the things they know and are used to their stress level is reduced. They are not transported to unfamiliar surroundings with unfamiliar animals, sounds and smells - that's enough to make even the most easy going pet anxious.
Best Friend Petsitting will take care of you as well. One of the things my clients look forward to when they get home - in addition to their pets meeting them at the front door - is reading my daily journal. During each visit I write a short note that provides an informal account of events and lets you know what went on during your absence, good or bad. It also lets you know things like how your pet's appetite was, any health or behavioral issues that were noticed and of course, all the fun we had.
To further ease your mind I am also available to you via cell phone, text messaging or email to provide real time updates, reassure you and help you with your separation anxiety. Believe me when I say I know what it's like to be separated from your furry family and wondering how things are going. I'm probably the worst when it comes to being separated from my kitties.
Just ask any of my clients. They'll tell you that I'm:
